Measurment Guides on your V2/V3 Pen

The V2/V3 injection pens are designed for use with a 3 mL cartridge and are not specific to any one medication. These pens are marked up to a maximum of 60 IU / 60 units per injection. Each dial increment, or click, on the pen is equivalent to 1 IU / 1 unit, which corresponds to 0.01 mL of liquid. Therefore, the maximum setting of 60 IU / 60 units is equivalent to a maximum injected volume of 0.60 mL for the 60-increment version.

Please note that the pen markings indicate volume dispensed, not the actual medication strength. The medication dose depends on the concentration of the medication in the cartridge as per the reconsitution calculator below.
